Particularly positive is the reduction of EIAs carried out each year to numbers approaching European averages and their replacement with predefined environmental conditions depending on the type of project, with an obvious reduction in bureaucratic burden. On the other hand, the continuous reduction of environmental audits is a negative development, despite national and EU legal provisions that require systematic regular inspections on the basis of objective criteria.
